I try to never go past two comments on a disagreement. If some one doesn't get it after that, I'm just trying to drain the dead sea into a coffee pot with a tea spoon.
I do sometimes get amused at reading over comment wars. The last one was over food, some mentioned all the different kinds of "health food binges" people go on, and potential hazards. The comments went ballistic. It wasn't long before a few commentators openly expressed that they wanted other commentators to be strung up by their legs so as to hang upside down, have their eyes gouged out, and then left bleed to death.
