I have played with them, but I suck at making them really go.
You should see the competition at Porsche Parade for RC cars. Some of those folks have spent their entire life driving those things. It is cool to see one driven at top speed and hitting the apex just right, and drifting through a corner.
I will stick to my full scale 911 toy.
