I remember when the original Excel came out - junk. I never thought I would consider a Korean car. I think the 100,000 mile warranty really forced them to improve quality. Can you imagine BMW offering a 100K warranty - they'd spend a fortune on claims.
The Base 2.0T model weighs just under 3300 pounds which seems a bit heavy to me. Thirty MPG (highway) out of 274 horse power does not sound too shabby, though.
