If the bumper isn't pushed in it means the bumper shocks came back out to their original location. If nothing is rubbing in the engine compartment there is 0 wrong with driving the car! Unless he hit one of your wheels (I know he didn't) all the rear of the car does is hold the engine up and the body panels on. Drive it!!
