I have the Retroaire evaporator blower(came as a complete unit when I installed AC in my '75). It is not especially quiet, but it moves a lot of air and certainly fits within the noisy confines of a 911.
Overall I am positive on the whole Retroaire system.....but there other good ones including Keuhl, but I liked the Retroaire price point better...
