I have a '98 Boxster and have acquired a set of 996 calipers. The fronts are no problem as the discs and pad part numbers are the same for the early Boxster S and the 996. The part numbers for the rear of an early Boxster S and the rear of the 996 are different for both the pads and rotors.

The information that I can find shows the same rear pads for both the Boxster and Boxster S. I thought that the Boxster S used the same rear calipers as a 996.

Have any of you upgraded an early Boxster to the 996 rear calipers?

Can I use the 996 rear calipers on my '98 Boxster? Which pads and rotors should I use?
