This is going to be a bit more complicated than expected; yes , the fronts are a bolt on, but the rears are anything but. The S Boxster used different suspension carriers in the rear, and a completely different size emergency brake set up, mostly sourced from the 996 cars. As the result, the rear 996/S rotors will not work without all new suspension carrier hubs and emergency brake hardware, which can be very expensive to source unless you pull it out of a wreck. This is why people put the red S brakes on the front and call it a day..........
