@Zeke: Sorry, karts aren't cars and an autocross course is not a track. Heck, most autocross courses don't even connect to make a continuous course! Most often an autocross is setup in a big parking lot or old airfield. Traffic cones just don't delineate a "track".
Back to the 914 issue........I don't think the 914 is "crappy". Nor is the Boxster.
