I mean burgundy is the safe color to go with - the no hassle, no stories, no worries, security color to go with. Really I don't know what other people are thinking but that green Jade is right on, I really like it. There are myriad period colors more popular than burgundy, so I would pick the most popular period color (or unusual or rare) and do it up. I say forget the burgundy, but then again you can't stave off security...especially in the classic car business where everyone has an opinion and that opinion is always right.

I always have a conundrum in painting, as repainting in the 'original' color doesn't make it original, and the original color realistically has not been 'original' since it was painted in the paint shop that very day. So either way, the cars been repainted. Sure it looks original, in the 'original' color, but it's not original. Like I said I would go with some cool period color that is rare or unusual. Jade.
