it works! no mosquitoes!
Wife read a snippet somewhere about using Vicks Vap-o-rub as an anti mosquito agent.
Just tested it and it works good... her instructions were to smear on ankles and wrists... I put a schmear on my shirt collar behind my neck and a little on each elbow... We only had baby strength so I imagine with the regular stuff it would work even better. Normally 2 or 3 bites in 10 min, just went out for 20 and no bites.
Thinking for outdoor porch/deck/etc use you could use one of those old fashioned perfume warmers over a tea light and a small metal tin of the stuff...
