I'm proud to say my Dad worked on the Big Kahuna of all Rockets.
Yes we'd get up to watch, on any one of the three TV networks, when you had to get up and walk across the room to twist the knob on the black/white TV that was of course on the TV tray, those early morning launches of Redstone, and Gemini, then Apollo missions...
And yes Buzz Aldrin haricuts looked cool.
