The Shaw pieces do have a lip but it is turned down for the air damn attachment. It will need reinforcing though as others have done, cuz it isn't much. I weighted all the parts that came off today but haven't had a chance to accurately weight what is going back on. Here is what came off. Front and rear bumpers with shocks weighted in at 78#.
Here is what is going on: Two small shocks going back on with the front nerf bar which is steel. That adds up to 14#. Back heat sink will be aluminum and around 5#. Shaws two pieces I would think hit less than 20# together. Makes the change about 38/40# lighter, may be a bit more. But I'll get chance to be more specific on Monday. Anyone else weighted the parts as they go?
