This is a seperate issue, but AFAIK all/most flatscreens have a small hole in the base so you can use a wood screw to attach it to your stand or table so something like this doesn't happen.
I would bet that plenty of people don't go to the effort to attach it.
True... Ruining my furniture by screwing woodscrews in it was too much of a hassle... Gravity works just fine...
I wonder if thieves laugh at people who don't attach them.  |
the poor sucker that has to discretely carry my 46" tv on his back, won't be laughing, but huffin' and puffin'....
