I'm thinking about selling my 1970 911T coupe. Values seem to be all over the place, would appreciate some opinions.
Car is in Canada, about one hour away from Toronto.
4 speed manual transmission
A previous owner sanded it to bare metal and painted it silver around 2002. It was originally Signal Orange.
The good: engine is strong, apparently a previous owner did the top end and installed chain tensioners; brakes, steering good. List of owners goes back to 1980. Winter stored. Comes with fiberglass ducktail and spare decklid. Previous owner had the gas tank and front suspension pan support replaced. I replaced shifter bushings and hand throttle parts, both work well now. I also added period correct rear bumpers. Front bumper is steel.
The not so good: wheels are reproduction, no tools, no manual. The fuel level gauge gets a little stuck when it gets under 1/2, the clock doesn't work, radio is not original. Not much in terms of maintenance receipts.
