Mom passed away yesterday. It was not unexpected. 94 years old & 70 lbs. She had been wasting away & not eating for the last 2 -3 months. Her heart just quit working....not a heart attack as such, just quit supplying enough BP and the lights finally went out. Sounds painless to me.........better than most ways out, me thinks.
My older sister & I are all that's left of my family and we get along OK.....not like we were young
. The sharp edges have worn off both of us.
Gonna have to sell the homestead in Kingston, WA. 10 wooded acres with a small Cedar house. If I were 20 years younger, I'd be on it like flies on horse****.
