even if I blow up the pic you cannot see the access hole, it appears that its been filled and painted.
Also at $4000, likely that was the price for a suspension pan replacement, however the tow hook piece should straddle the pans lateral support beam.
the way its tacked on, a tow guy would probably do some damage to pull the car from the hook, so if that was a Porsche shop who did the replacement, that has to raise some questions.
again it can be reversed without too much trouble but it would really need to be relocated or plainly removed as it is not MY favorite place to hook up a 911.
I have seen too many of these situations where the tow hook was ripped open by tow co.....(see second foto) an unnecessary trauma to the underside..
