Gave my step daughter our old 2005 Elantra with 100k mile, paid mechanic to put a new everything on it (belts, hoses, fluids) still running strong, leather interior, excellent condition.

She doesn't like it (did I mention we GAVE it to her... as in free!!!)

I vote keep the 21 YO in the Sonata, reward the nursing student with the Corolla (or give her a choice of a Corolla/Sentra/ Honda/new[er]Hyundai/Kia)
