Sorry if that came across wrong, I really do appreciate all the responses! It's a little hard to be under the microscope like this, but I was smiling when I wrote that.
I bought the car from a friend (he had to move for a job) never having seen a classic Porsche in person before, so this is all new to me. I want to make sure the state of the car is as clear as I can make it, so the next owner knows what they are buying and is happy with their purchase. Would an asking price of $18,000 be reasonable?
