I'm just 42, but almost a dinosaur compared to most guys at the bike parks. Agree about what you say about being slow but wanting to get back home in one piece. I try to push myself, but hang on the brakes way too much, even though I know that I can make it if I pin it.

The bike rack is a SeaSucker Talon (
SeaSucker | Vacuum Mounting Systems) using vacuum cups. Easy to fit, works at 100mph+. Just have to make sure the paint is clean. I use a wet rag and clean it before putting it on.
