Yes, he had that on the outside and I'm thinking that he didn't think anyone under the age of 60 would know what it was turned around correctly.
Well, considering the average of the crowd (especially the car owners), that would not have been a problem.
That sorta brings around the question, who will own these cars in 20 years? I know I didn't see 5 people under the age of 40. This is a different culture. No woodies, no Euro and no vans, SUV's or PT Cruisers. Evenly divided between sleds and rods. No East L.A. influence at all. It was what you might call a white car show. In fact, I saw ONE amp in a truck. This is not your typical sub woofer group.
Most had 50K worth of work, chrome and paint. A few cost a
bit more than that, I'm sure. Definitely a dying breed that will hang on to these cars. This is why I make this show every year. Aside from the fact that it's free.
