Man, I really hate people who initiate those kind of handshakes. You are trying to be pleasant and nice and they pull that ****.
The trick is to pull your hand slightly back when you feel the squeeze coming on so they are just squeezing your fingers and not your whole hand.
Then you kick 'em in the nutz for squeezing soo hard.
Had an older big guy try the hard handshake of death on me and I squeezed right back with all my might. I saw a little bead of sweat leave his brow as he tried to let go. He didn't shake anyone else's hand after that.
