As a kid, I sold the newspaper Grit door to door...one issue had several colored photos of the Colts and a story about their new QB from a sand lot team (Unitas). I was so taken in by their uniforms and insignia that I made them MY team. I even painted a horseshoe on both sides of my plastic helmet. I memorized all the off. & def. team member's names and numbers. I was besotted. My brother thought I was nuts.
Art Donovan, #62, was a character, for sure. A good guy you'd want as a neighbor.
