Interwebs search shows that broken fuel door is a common furd problem.
Never had a fuel door break on my chebby or toyota trucks .............
$137 to get it fixed at the stealer, but the part is availalble for about $30 and takes 15 minutes to swap out.
EDIT: part cost $41 on flea-bay, but free shippin.
You can always tell a part is a common breakage item when there are three pages of them for sale on flea-bay.
