Actually, I've owned it since 1988. It has 79k miles on it and I did start it a couple times the last 2 years but only drove it for the first time 44 miles this week.
It's always been hard to start if it doesn't "go" right away. I learned years ago that the only fix is to take off the air filter & wedge the throttle plate open and it always start right up.
I read almost all of the posts on this site & am impressed with the quality of info.
