If these were simply brain misfires, just get another set of keys if you haven't already.
what if you are working on the truck like i was. you start it shut the door, now the keys are locked in with the engine running. this is what happened except i started it then turned it off and shut the door. i also leave my keys in my ignition at work. i am behind secure fences.
