do the main crank seal while the clutch is out.
do the 'holy trinity'---the oil temp sender, the thermostat gasket and the crankcase breather cover gasket, middle of the motor at the rear. check all hoses, I found a few sources of vacuum leaks. you might want to check all the fuel injector seals and clamps....and clean everything, valve adjustment, etc
