Well, tuning a Carrera has a purpose that a '32 3 window can't even begin to touch. Why did you buy the suspension stuff? You obviously have thought of tracking the car or chasing in some curves somewhere. You now having 2nd thoughts about that?

I sure did. Expensive, expensive, expensive. Not hard to write a car off not to mention buying yourself a few days off mending if it gets bad. I know, that can happen at any time anywhere, but guess what? I seldom ran the track or the canyons on a big run that someone didn't go home on a trailer or flatbed. I could not afford that than and certainly can't afford that now.

I got out of Porsches with the exception of the wife's Boxster, a very worthy car if I need to get my rocks off. Which I don't, so it sits with 58,000 on the clock still on the factory brakes.

Sounds to me like you're looking for a different kind of car experience. One that you can get a lot of enjoyment out of cruising the streets and hitting the shows. There's a huge hot rod community out there. I've walked both sides of the street more than once. Now, I do the rod shows and still have as much fun as I did years ago.

But, I haven't found the ultimate Zekemobile yet. Sounds like you are closer than I to finding yours.
