I would do both. Get the parts on the 911 and start saving for the hot rod. Or alternatively, leave the 911 stock and sell the pile of speed parts.
But I have a use for my 911. I love driving it on curved roads. Something impossible to enjoy at the same level in a hotrod.

YES I KNOW... 2 different animals. I can't have both. 911 is used for entrance/exit ramps and back roads driving. I've been collecting parts for an entire suspension upgrade to do all at once. Elephant, Rebel, Smart and Zuff Fuchs already in possession. 930 brake kit next. Planned on early summer start this year, but getting the garage ready took longer than expected. Track use a couple times a year after upgrades. Once I start it, I'm in for the long haul. Problem is I love traditional hotrods and now's the time. I need to pick one. I love curved roads and you make sense. I'm just at a crossroad.
