Having a 911 is really nice, but it's not the only automotive experience out there. I think your more rational mind is speaking when you say, "The spendy upgrades with little return in value is eating at me." Plainly speaking, it's money down the drain. Plus my feelings are more and more against cutting up the older (and getting older) 911's to make hotrods out of them - especially relatively low mileage ones with no rust and still original. I can relate to your feelings about letting it go, but I think you would enjoy a different experience. There is a reason you are feeling hesitant about it.
