Michael Shrieve's drum solo toward the end of Santana's "Soul Sacrifice"... he is beyond inspired. At one point he's playing 3 beats at the same time. I've watched it on video many times, and I still can't believe it.
I love how, during many drum solos, the other musicians walk off the stage to have a smoke, and relax and watch the drummer. That is so cool.
