My comment was based on a consideration much like yours. I was restoring a TR-6 many years ago when we lived in Tulsa. The powder-coater I used had a contract with the government to powder coat grenade casings. He also did street-sign posts for another company. Very busy shop.
A whole world of stuff out there to coat!
