Absolutely. I work on cars from decades before this auto-lock stuff came along and if the engine is running or keys are in ignition, the drivers window is down. WTF would you want to have to open the door and get in to turn it on and off when you can just reach through the window and around or through the steering wheel?? Jeezus...
