i just bought a welder from northern tool. it was one of their brands.
it was the 240v, dual purpose 200a welder. i can weld mig or stick with it.
i have been preacticing with the flux core wire for now. i also did some stick welding with it. that stick welder is really nice.
i broke my motor mount bar so i welded that up and made it stronger.
i also had a crack in the weld on my stainless steel manifold that goes to the WG.
i picked up some SS rods and fixed that. it burned thru a little but i manage to get enough built up to hold it.
this is one great very versitile welder. nice price, around $650.
this was done with flux core wire only. this was my first day with it.
