I just went to the annual Buckley Old Engine and Thresher Show. I swear I saw one of those things.
I did check out a 1936 (can't recall the make/model) four cylinder gasoline tractor. The engine was about the same size as a new Kubota 3 cylinder diesel (i.e. tiny). The Kubota diesel generates 23hp the Farmall powered out at a whopping 9hp!
Waitaminit. I didn't see one of those things, I saw 2! They were joined together in line by some sort of omni-directional articulating mechanism.
Suppose I shoulda checked it out further.
