Glass shower door guy wants to drill into new tub... sound right?
I'm updating my bathroom and went through a heck of a time carrying a new cast iron tub upstairs.
Anyway, the glass door installer would like to drill into the new tub to install the stationery panel, and I don't like the sounds of that. He says he does it all the time...
The old tub lasted 40 years. I don't know if I or the next guy will have the glass door setup for that long, and now we'll have holes in the tub if we go another route. Is anyone familiar with a modern epoxy that could do the job, but theoretically be removed at some later date if we wanted to?
