Vintage Mustang Forums is the best site I've found for the old Mustangs. I have a 1970 waiting in storage for me to get my garage freed up. They are far less than some of the more typical muscle cars, you can still get a nice classic Mustang for under $20k. There's several guys on Pelican that are really well versed in building driver/track modified classic Mustangs, do a search and you'll find some good stuff.

Good link, exactly what I was looking for.......but now I want the first car I came across in the classifieds...a track prepped 65..... and the ship hasn't landed yet......bummer.
