Maybe it's not quite stupid enough?
EDIT for clarification so all the thin-skinnies don't get their unmentionables all bunched up:
it is certainly a stupid letter written by a stupid person. But there are few things in this world IMO that can even approach the stupidity of the concept of "hate crime".
