Yes I have rolled the lips, infact I had the fenders off and pounded the lips totally flat before fitting to the car. I currently have so little space between the tire and fender, almost every one who sees the car can't believe the tires don't rub. They would except I have 23mm torsion bars, 31 mm sway bar and really stiff shocks keeping the car flat. sitting in a resting position there is about a 1/4 clearance.
