Actually, the UN failed to deliver it in the US's timeframe. And that, plain and simple, is what gets me.

I've posted something to this affect elsewhere already - I am 100% behind the guys and girls fighting over there now. I realise (although I am unhappy) that many Coalition and Iraqi soldiers and citizens have and will continue to die, and I believe that the evil of that is lesser than the longer term evil of Saddam.

But the US attacked too early if you ask me (and the UN). Lets not rehash that argument (BTDT). You can't base half your argument on the US being justified in invading Iraq when more than 1/2 the world disagrees.

And why did the US go early? Because they don't give a toss about what the rest of the world thinks, because they are so big and powerful. That is wrong, plain and simple.
