It's possible, especially when you've got the aftermarket sway bar that does away with the obstructive connection on the A-arm. But the 3 in. hose is pretty big and can be crushed by the chassis tub under heavy suspension compression.
Are you using the "clamshell" style manifolds that run the hose across the A-arm diagonal brace? That's the best way to do it if you want to get air in from the front bumper. Under the A-arm is too low and gets torn off.
The only under A-arm install I like is the AJ-USA or NERP style that use the shop vac nozzle to scoop air from under the car. Then you don't need to run any hose to the front bumper. Our old MotoDelta warhorse ran the AJ style for years and worked just fine. No hassles with long run of hose up to the front bumper.
