No shortage of brakes on that car.....

If you have to replace, you can use the black hose instead of the silicone orange stuff. I've used the black for years and never encountered a problem with heat compromising the hose.

I'd suggest removing the screens from the brake ports in the bumper. It's hard enough to get air thru there. You don't want any obstruction that will reduce the velocity. The bend in the hose near the backing plate is already going to slow down the flow.
