Just ending a week w/ our kayaks at Lake Tahoe. No pics of kayaks on my iPhone, and I can't snap one to post because I just checked them with Southwest Airlines.
We have two Feathercraft K-1 boats. Have been paddling them since 1996. Great boats, still look nearly new and have held their value too.
Oh, I agree on not towing anything behind a kayak. With a following sea, you could get pretty crossed up, then find yourself beam-on to the waves and with the boat destabilized by the pull of the "trailer". Worst case, you'd have to choose between paddling into the waves, or abandoning the trailer.
