The boxes weren't lined up for Indy, but if Cup races support 33 or so cars, then they should have set up the pits better for Indy which has fewer cars.
I think the pit crew member is 75% at fault as he made himself as wide as possible by holding the tire sideways and not hugging the rear of his team's car. I would like to see some of the teams other stops in past races to see if that crew member deviated from his normal routine to hold up Dixon.
I hate full course cautions when they could handled by a local yellow like in F1.
