Arkansas has some fantastic roads. I have road tripped at least twice a year since getting the Pcar. It will take longer to get to the roads in AR but they are really good, worth the effort IMHO. A trip I like is to get to the southern part of hwy 7 and head north on 7 through the entire state of AR. It terminates in the northern half of Louisiana and there are some phenomenal parts in that area. Tree covered, sharp switchbacks with gentle rollers thru the farmland and river bottoms. I have driven 30+ minutes without seeing another car.
Hwy 7 in AR will lead right to Hot Springs which is a pretty cool town. Lots of history and shopping etc. Once in Hot Springs you can continue north on 7 to Missouri and be fine but 7 can be crowded on weekends, there are plenty of less crowded roads that are equally nice.
I planned a trip using tips from an AR motorcycle website, good resource. I am sure if you poke around you can get plenty of advice.
