Good choice. I've had a Land Cruiser that could (and did) fit 4x8 sheet goods in the back. PITA. I've had a 4x8 folding utility trailer that I used to haul stuff. PITA. We finally gave in and bought a 2012 F150 SuperCrew 4x4 that serves as our family car. If you want to keep a truck but need more space to haul people, I highly recommend it. We can carry six adults in comfort (massive back seat), tow our boat, and haul anything that we realistically need to. I installed a locking color-matched fiberglass tonneau cover as well as a Bedrug, basically giving us a huge trunk that I can still hose out if necessary. It is an awesome compromise.
