To paraphrase Patrick, "I'm not very good at acting but when I'm in the race car I'm alive." He goes on to describe the brilliance of attention and focus.
I think Steve McQueen's line was more scripted, Racing is living, everything else is just waiting."
The PD show is very good and the first 5 minutes define it.
