cars. What do you think? Any personal experience of the following? Keeping in mind my daughter's boyfriend thinks that if I sell my 2001 Boxster then I will still need some excitement in my next vehicle.

I value the following in the next car:
reliability
fun to drive

So what do you think of the following two cars with these factors in mind.
2011 BMW 328x drive(auto trans) AWD 21k miles.

2011 Lexus IS250 AWD auto trans AWD also 21k miles.

Somewhat concerned with the BMW coming off basic warranty in 2015.
Tired of the questionable quality of my 2001 Boxster base even though it only has 41k miles. Winter is coming up and I need more metal around me, more heat and better traction. What do you all think? And I don't need a big engine.
