Drove a 3.8 version and it had horrible understeer, but the 2.0 might be better with much less front end weight.
I think given a choice I would have a hard choice between the Subaru BRZ and the 2.0 Genesis. Both great cars for the money (operative work is for the money...it's not a Porsche but for $25K both cars are a kick in the pants).
I don't get the "boy racer" image. Every one of those boy racers would buy a 911 if they could afford one.... We all start somewhere.
