The temp gauge not staying in place is making me nuts.
The PO told me this is due to the common ground problems and that he has never had a problem.
It acts like it's gonna overheat going up close to red, then it goes back down to 3/4 ways, then down to 1/2 midway, then after 20 min on highway it goes down to just above 1/4 way. The first line.

I cant deal with this. How can I check if I'm really running hot or if this is just electrical?

Would installing an aftermarket numbered gauge be a good option. I am new to this car so need direction from people who know.
