One of our AZ based Pelicans has frequently posted the accuracy virtues of going synthetic on a long gun. But we're talking a Mini here so it's generally not going to be the most accurate system out there...generally. I bought a stainless/synthetic Mini from a private party and replaced the stock with wood. Looks great and I have not noticed any degradation in accuracy. As Todd already alluded to - not so 'black rifle' dressed this way. Might be a concern in CA down the road.
